Beauty creates care.

I believe that restoration begins with attention. Before we protect a landscape, we learn its plants. Before we steward a habitat, we notice its birds, insects, and seasons. Before we care for the living world, we learn how to see it.

My paintings are an invitation to that process.

I work primarily in watercolor, ink, and encaustic, creating detailed, colorful paintings inspired by botanicals, wildlife, books, gardens, and the everyday beauty of the natural world. My subjects are often familiar, but I hope to reveal something extraordinary within them: a moment of wonder, connection, or belonging.

I'm particularly inspired by native plants, rewilding, habitat creation, soil health, and regenerative approaches to living with the land. These ideas are not separate from my art. They are the foundation beneath it.

Many environmental conversations begin with loss. I am interested in possibility. What does a thriving future look like? What happens when we restore habitats, enrich soil, plant native species, and make room for other forms of life?

My work explores those questions through beauty rather than fear.

I paint the living world not as something disappearing, but as something worth cultivating. I believe every garden can become habitat. Every native plant can support a web of life. Every act of stewardship matters.

And every act of attention is a small beginning.
